Position: Radiographer

Seeking a Radiographer for Kashambya hospital, a 30- bed hospital located in the village of Gera in Bukoba, Tanzania.

The Radiographer will focus on day- to- day operations of the Radiology building and partner with Dr. Samsoni William Kubigwa, our Chief Medical Officer on strategic matters.

Radiographer Responsibilities:
Ability to use radiographic equipment, monitoring supplies and submitting purchasing requests proactively. Analyzing and reporting the results of X-rays, ultrasound, CT-scan and mammogram with input from a radiologist as needed.
Offer pre-procedure guidance, handle phone calls from patients and doctors and answer technical questions. Able to perform any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Radiographer Requirements:

• Fully registered with a degree/diploma or equivalent in radiology.
  
• At least 2year experience in X-ray, ultrasound, CT, mammography and hopefully MRI.
  
• He/she must be willing to work anytime needed at the facility including nights or weekend.
  
• Must be willing to work as a team, respecting all colleagues regardless of their education level .
